You are invited to live the romance and adventure of the Cain's Crossing  Renaissance Fair amidst a bustling 16th century Elizabethan village and marketplace as we celebrate a most rollicking festival filled with artisans, swordsmen, privateers, guilds and entertainers.  Step onto the Shire of Cain's Crossing and be welcomed by hundreds of colorfully costumed merriemakers, musicians, artisans, swordfighters and even Queen Elizabeth.  Other costumed characters of the period come to life and engage the guests in banter, gossip and spirited play.  Make way for the royal procession, barter with a merchant for fyne crafted wares.  Indulge your appetite and stroll through majestic lanes of this village of yore .  Enjoy multiple stages of entertainment and scores of artisans demonstrating and selling their period crafts.  This event is co-sponsored by Auburn Recreation District and the Auburn Educations Foundation.   All proceeds from this event will directly benefit local students.
