| Just as Native California was perhaps the most densely and diversely populated area of North America, it is no surprise that the varieties of sacred expresions on rock should be equally rich. Explore the beauty, mystery, and diversity of California's rock art. Petroglyph rubbings, rock art video and a rock art scavenger hunt create a family friendly visit. The exhibit is on loan from the Marin Museum of the American Indian and will be displayed at the Maidu Interpretive Center from March through December. |
