Join us for the 8th Annual Funny Bones Comedy Awards Night, Friday, March 27th at the Timbercreek Ballroom (7050 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City Roseville). Not only does this unique event feature great food and sidesplitting entertainment, but it affords guests the opportunity to meet the Placer SPCA’s “Heroes” during the Hero Award presentation. Awards will be given to those individuals, organizations/businesses, and animals that exemplify what it means to be humane or that have gone above and beyond for the homeless animals in Placer County.
A no host bar & silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the awards presentation at 7:30 p.m. The comedy show will follow the live auction at 8:15 p.m., with our featured comedian, James P. The proceeds from Funny Bones will help the Placer SPCA continue its work in enhancing the lives of companion animals and people through our programs and services, such as our spay/neuter assistance, humane education and behavior programs. These services are vital to our community and help us ensure that the thousands of animals that come to us each year will not only find care and comfort while here at our facility, but also in their new environment. |
