| Father’s Day weekend 2009 will be different from any other Father’s Day in history, ever since this celebration honoring Dad was first conceived in Spokane, Washington in 1910. That’s because this year, for the first time ever, the perfect Father’s Day event is set to occur on the glassy, gorgeous waters of Lake Tahoe. That’s when the 37th annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance will provide a treat for Dad with the nation’s most prestigious wooden boat show (an event that until now has been traditionally held in August), scheduled from June 19-21 at the Sierra Boat Company in Carnelian Bay, on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe.
