“Life and Songs of Kate Smith,” a benefit concert presented by Auburn Placer Performing Arts Center, will be performed at 3 p.m. March 9 at Pioneer United Methodist Church, 1338 Lincoln Way, Auburn. The performance will include a first person narrative with a rich variety of songs by Nadine Salonites, who will be accompanied on the piano by Kathleen Turner. This will be a concert to hear old time favorite songs and learn of Kate Smith’s remarkable life and times.
