| The City of Roseville invites you to come and "Celebrate the Earth" as part of the regional Earth Day festivities on Saturday, April 19th at the city's Mahany Park facilities. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and will feature several activities, speakers, and environmental workshops that will run throughout the day. Celebrate efforts to maintain a healthy and sustainable environment!
- Learn about Roseville and Placer County services to help you live with sustainability in mind
- Explore environmentally friendly products, services and practices
- Win "green" raffle prizes
- Enjoy musical entertainment, family storytime, food vendors, speakers, and exhibits
- Run or walk with your family at the Earth Day Fun Run ($5 for adults, $3 for kids)
Travel the Earth Friendly Way! Cut down on your greenhouse gas emissions and avoid parking congestion by riding your bike or taking the bus to the event. Free valet bike parking will be available, and Roseville Transit is hosting an Earth Day Express bus. Buses depart from 311 Vernon Street and cost $1.50 (general public) or $0.75 (seniors, disabled, or children), with a free return. Drivers can park cars for free at the downtown parking garage (405 Vernon Street). |
